Jitney is named after the Hampton Jitney , the bus that takes New Yorkers from the stuffy city to the beaches, to the fresh sea breeze of the Hamptons during the summer months. This place of longing also inspired the shade Jitney - a relaxed and uncomplicated, rather cool sandy tone.
